Acceptance. By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

The service. PDFLocal provides free, browser-based utilities for manipulating PDF and image files. All processing takes place on your own device. We do not receive your files, do not operate user accounts, and do not provide any storage service.

Acceptable use. You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and only on files you are entitled to process. You must not use these tools to infringe copyright or other rights, to remove watermarks or protections from material you do not own, to forge or alter documents with intent to deceive, or to process material whose possession is unlawful in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for the content you process and for any use you make of the output.

No warranty. The site and its tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Document processing may produce unexpected results on unusual or malformed files. You are responsible for verifying any output before relying on it. Always keep a copy of your original file.

Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, including loss of data, loss of profit, or damage to reputation. Because processing occurs on your device and we never hold your files, we cannot recover or restore any document.

Availability. The site is offered free of charge and may be changed, interrupted or discontinued at any time without notice. Individual tools may be modified or removed.

Advertising. The site displays third-party advertising to cover running costs. We are not responsible for the content of advertisements or for the products and services they promote.

Intellectual property. The site's text, design and code, and the open-source libraries it uses, remain the property of their respective owners and are subject to their own licences.

Changes. These terms may be revised; continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
